Revenue verification with read-only connections
Buyers trust numbers they did not have to take on faith. Sellers connect their payment processor and analytics with read-only access, and every listing shows revenue, churn and traffic with a badge that names the source. No screenshots, no typed figures.
Verified numbers shorten every deal
Most of the time in a small acquisition goes into checking whether the numbers are real. When revenue comes straight from the source, buyers screen faster, ask better questions and make offers with more confidence. Sellers get fewer requests for exports and fewer price cuts late in diligence.
What we read, read-only
- Revenue by month, including recurring and one-time charges
- Monthly recurring revenue and annual recurring revenue
- Active subscriptions, new subscriptions and cancellations
- Churn by customers and by revenue
- Refunds and disputes as counts and totals
- Plan mix and average revenue per customer
- Customer counts by country, without names or emails
- Traffic, sessions and top acquisition channels from your analytics
- Trends over the last 24 months where history exists
We turn this into aggregated metrics. Buyers see totals, rates and trends, never the record of an individual customer.
What we never touch
- We never move money, create charges or issue refunds.
- We never change prices, plans, products or settings.
- We never contact your customers.
- We never read or store full card details or bank account numbers.
- We never show customer names or emails to buyers.
- We never write to your analytics or change tracking.
The access scopes we request are read-only. If an action would need write access, we do not request it.
Source badges on every metric
Each verified metric carries a badge so buyers know where it came from and how fresh it is.
- Verified via payment processor
- Verified via analytics
- Last synced
- Connection paused
- Seller reported, not verified
Seller reported figures, such as owner hours per week or tech stack notes, are labelled as such. They never carry a verified badge. Only listings with verified revenue appear in Verified AI business listings.
How sellers connect
- Create your seller account and start a listing.
- Choose your payment processor from the list and sign in to it in its own window.
- Approve the read-only access request. You see every scope before you approve.
- Do the same for your analytics.
- Review the metrics we calculated and publish your listing.
The first sync usually takes minutes. After that, metrics refresh daily, so buyers always see current numbers.
How sellers disconnect
You can disconnect at any time, from your listing settings or from your payment processor and analytics account directly. When a connection is removed, we stop reading data at once, the affected metrics show "Connection paused" and the listing is hidden from search until you reconnect. When you close your listing, the stored metrics are deleted on the schedule described on Security and data handling.
What verification means for buyers
A verified badge tells you the figure came from the seller's connected account, not from a spreadsheet. You still decide what the numbers mean. Compare the trend over 24 months, look at churn by revenue as well as by customers, and check refunds and disputes against total revenue. Use the verified metrics as the base for your offer and spend your diligence time on fit, product quality and the AI layer.
Buyers on every plan see verified metrics. Fund teams can send priority verification requests when they need a listing reviewed first.
Verification that fits AI products
AI businesses carry costs that generic SaaS does not. Next to revenue and churn, sellers can show gross margin after model and hosting costs and the share of revenue spent on inference. Where those figures come from connected data, they carry a verified badge. Where the seller enters them, they are labelled as seller reported, and buyers check them during the SaaS due diligence checklist.
Priority verification
Portfolio sellers and Fund buyers get priority verification. Portfolio listings are reviewed first after connection, and Fund teams can send priority verification requests on listings they are screening. Plans are on Pricing for buyers and sellers.
FAQ
No. Verified metrics come only from connected sources. A seller can add notes and context, but cannot change a verified figure.
No. Buyers see aggregated totals, rates and trends. Customer names, emails and payment details are never shown.
Connect each of them. The listing combines them into one set of metrics and shows a badge for every source.
Affected metrics show "Connection paused" and the listing is hidden from search. Buyers already under NDA see that the connection is paused. Reconnect to restore it.
It confirms that the numbers come from the connected accounts. It is not an audit or an appraisal. Buyers still complete their own due diligence.
A domain with no revenue has nothing to verify on the revenue side. We confirm that the seller controls the domain before the listing goes live.
Metrics refresh daily after the first sync. Each badge shows when the data was last synced.
